Is this course Idaho state approved?
Yes. This course is fully certified by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). It meets all state requirements for the Safe Driving Point Reduction program and is recognized by Idaho courts for traffic citation dismissals and point mitigation.
What is the cost of the course?

This is an all-inclusive cost that covers the Idaho-approved curriculum, the final examination, and the immediate processing of your official certificate of completion. There are no hidden administrative or “filing” fees.
How often can I take defensive training?
Drivers are eligible for a three-point reduction on their driving record once every three years. While the course can be taken more frequently for insurance premium discounts or employer requirements, the ITD point credit is restricted to this three-year interval.
How and when is my completion reported?
Upon completing the course, your certificate will be immediately available to you as a PDF download. You are responsible for printing, signing, and submitting the certificate directly to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
How many points will this remove from my record?
Completion of this ITD-approved course results in a reduction of up to three points from your active Idaho driving record.
Will this course lower my insurance premiums?
