If you received a traffic ticket in California you are in the right place. Taking traffic school will keep points off your record. Traffic tickets in California are handled by the local court, in or nearby, the area where you received your ticket. To clear a ticket at the court level you must:
Classroom vs. Online Traffic School
Online traffic schools in California must meet the same requirements as the classroom courses. Drivers choose online traffic school because it is convenient, and costs less than a classroom course. With online traffic school you do not need to call in advance to attend a class. You can enroll at anytime and take the course at your own pace. Your progress is always saved so when you return to your course you start where you last left off.
Classroom traffic schools require you to register in advance. If you are late to your class you are locked out. If you miss the class entirely you are not refunded. You are not allowed to have drinks or snacks during class and you are only given one hour for lunch. At least the first hour is spent listening to everyone in class who got a ticket and how it happened.
